LMU/UniStraSi Double degree students (incoming)

Cari studenti del double degree di UniStraSi,
benvenuti alla LMU di Monaco. Il vostro coordinatore presso UniStraSi vi avrà informato sulla maggior parte degli aspetti della doppia laurea e avrete già pronto il vostro Learning agreement.
Vorremmo qui di seguito segnalarvi alcuni requisiti formali.
Dovete presentare domanda di ammissione sia all'università stessa (Ufficio Relazioni Internazionali, LMU), sia al dipartimento che offre il corso di laurea magistrale (Institut für Italienische Philologie, LMU), per la valutazione attitudinale. Tuttavia, vi chiediamo di inviare entrambe le domande all'Institut für Italienische Philologie (indirizzo sotto indicato), da dove la vostra domanda di ammissione verrà inoltrata all'Ufficio Relazioni Internazionali, insieme alla nostra valutazione attitudinale
Le domande devono essere inviate per posta, allegando copie certificate dei vostri titoli di studio/certificati universitari. L'intero dossier DEVE pervenire entro il 10 luglio!

Per il dipartimento, si prega di compilare il modulo allegato per la nostra valutazione attitudinale.

Per la vostra candidatura come studente internazionale all'Ufficio Relazioni Internazionali della LMU, si prega di consultare i requisiti elencati alla pagina web che segue (tenete inoltre presente che la "Lettera di ammissione" verrà automaticamente preparata da noi sulla base del vostro modulo di valutazione attitudinale, quindi non dovete preoccuparvi di tale aspetto):

Nella lettera di presentazione all'Institut für Italienische Philologie, si prega di indicare:
- che siete studenti iscritti al programma di doppia laurea
- se desiderate o meno candidarvi per un alloggio in un convitto universitario per studenti.

Notate che durante il processo di immatricolazione/registrazione presso la LMU vi verrà richiesto di fornire un numero di assicurazione sanitaria. Se siete assicurati con un'assicurazione sanitaria pubblica (come in Italia) o con un'assicurazione privata, procedete come segue:
Contattate un'assicurazione sanitaria pubblica (non privata) (“gesetzliche Krankenversicherung”) in Germania (come AOK o Barmer ecc.) e chiedete l'esenzione dall'assicurazione sanitaria obbligatoria per gli studenti (che dimostra che siete già assicurati con un'altra assicurazione). Potete recarvi di persona o contattarli tramite un sito web, ad esempio nel caso di Barmer:

Chiedete l'esenzione e ottenete da loro un numero di assicurazione pro forma.
Quindi, durante la procedura di immatricolazione (Immatrikulation), selezionate “no” quando vi viene chiesto se siete assicurati con un'assicurazione sanitaria pubblica in Germania. Sotto, inserite il nome della compagnia di assicurazione sanitaria che ha concesso l'esenzione e poi il numero di assicurazione pro forma.

Non possiamo fornire alloggio a tutti o alla gran parte degli studenti che si candidano. Pertanto, consigliamo di iniziare a cercare una stanza o un appartamento il prima possibile.

Dear double degree students from UniStraSi,
welcome to LMU Munich. Your coordinator at UniStraSi will have informed you about most aspects of the double degree, and you will already have your learning agreement ready. In addition to this, we should like to point out to you a few formal requirements:
You have to apply both to the university itself (International Office, LMU), for admission, and to the department offering the master programme (Institut für Italienische Philologie, LMU), for the aptitude assessment. However, we ask you to send both applications to Institut für Italienische Philologie (address below), from where your application for admission will be forwarded to the International Office, together with our aptitude assessment.
Applications must be sent by post, including officially certified copies of your education/ university certificates. The whole package MUST arrive by July 10th!

Please indicate in your covering letter to the Institut für Italienische Philologie
- that you are a student in the double degree programme
- whether or not you wish to apply for housing in a university boarding house for students.

A short mail with a scan of the aptitude assessment form is appreciated, but not strictly necessary. Please send this to: florian.mehltretter@lrz.uni-muenchen.de

Please note that during the actual process of immatriculation/registration at LMU you will be asked to provide an insurance number for your health insurance. If you are covered by a national scheme (like in Italy) or by private insurance, proceed as follows:
Contact a public (not private) health insurance ("gesetzliche Krankenversicherung") in Germany (like AOK or Barmer etc.) and ask for exemption from the mandatory health insurance for students (proving that you are otherwise covered). You can go there in person or contact them via a website, for instance in the case of Barmer:

Ask for exemption and obtain from them a pro forma insurance number.
Then, in the actual process of registration (Immatrikulation), select "no" where you are asked whether you are covered under a statutory health insurance plan in Germany. Below that, enter the name of the health insurance company which granted the exemption and then the pro forma insurance number.

We cannot provide housing for all or even for most of the students who apply. We therefore recommend that you start looking for a room or flat as soon as possible.
